Father's Day....21 June 2009.

My kids jumped to me and hugged me the moment I reached home yesterday. They were fighting against each other to pass to me the A4 size envelope that each of them were holding while screaming to me " Happy Father's Day Ayah!".
I quickly opened the first envelope from my son after receiving big kissing all over my face from all of them. It has three pieces of colour paper. The first page is a normal big wish for a father's day and the next two pages really amazed me. He printed a poem for a father ( the words are so beautiful and touching to me...!) that he sourced from internet and followed with the next page with a photo of the familiy which taken a few years ago in Malacca. Everything was written in English and I gave him a big hug and kiss once again after looking and reading each page.

Then came my 9 years old daughter with her envelope. Also 3 pages. In the second page she wrote to me with her handwriting. She said thank you from many things that I've done for her and she love me forever. The second page shows my photo that she picked from one of the albums. The last page is her hand drawing picture of her with each of the family member. My wife told me that she took quite some time a night before to prepare the write -up and checked the grammar with her mom to make sure everything will be alright when I read it. There were few grammatical errors but that was not that important anyway. T

And the last one, my youngest daughter. She is 4 years old an she also did not want to miss the celebration as well. She wrote herself a big Father's day wish in one page of paper(surely helped by my wife)and in the middle of page, a pink love shape paper was pasted.

Not long after that Zaim and Sofiyya came back to me with their drawing wishing me again. Thank you Allah! Syukur to You because my kids know how to show their love and appreciation to me as their father. I will keep praying that they will remain as a good son and daughters us as their parent.

I was so touched..surely and nothing can describe my feeling when I hugged all of them and said thank you so much for the GREAT WISHES AND CELEBARTION to me from my own children!

Syukurlah...at least they are smart and brave enough to express they deepest appreciation to their father and I'm still alive to see and feel all that. I must thank my wife also for being with me raising them until today...
Thank you so much my lovely children..Zaim, Sofiyya and Fareesya...and all of you owe so much to your mom for what you are today.

May be I should scan their cards and publish it here and then you will know why I was so touched and happy at that moment...until now.
